Brief discussion on the production process of high-purity silicon micropowder

High-purity silica powder is a hard, wear-resistant, and chemically stable silicate mineral, with its main mineral component being SiO2. Quartz sand milky white or colorless and translucent, with a hardness of 7, brittle without cleavage, conchoidal fracture, greasy luster, a density of 2.65, and bulk density of 1.5 (for 20-200 mesh). Its chemical, thermal, and mechanical properties exhibit significant anisotropy; it is insoluble in acid, soluble in KOH solution, and has a melting point of 1650°C. Quartz stone mined from mines is generally called quartz sand after processing if the fineness is below120 mesh (less than 120 mesh). Products exceeding 120 mesh are called silica powder.
